2009
WHEN PIGS FLY…A CURIOUS LITTLE SHOPPE
When Pigs Fly was founded in Denton, Texas as a curated antique and consignment store. What began as a small neighborhood shop quickly became known for distinctive antiques, estate furnishings, fine home décor, and one-of-a-kind discoveries.
2010
WHEN PIGS FLY ESTATE SALES
As clients sought help beyond the walls of the shop, When Pigs Fly Estate Sales was established. We began assisting families through life’s transitions by professionally organizing, marketing, and presenting estate collections with care and respect.
2014
EXPANDING OUR SERVICES
Recognizing that certain collections deserved a broader audience, we expanded into auctions, providing another avenue to connect exceptional property with motivated buyers and helping clients achieve the strongest possible results.
2025
DALLAS DESIGN DISTRICT
When Pips Fly relocated to the Dallas Design District, opening a beautifully curated 10,000-square-foot gallery. The new space expanded our ability to host gallery-based estate events and accept consignments while continuing to provide the in-home estate sales that have been the foundation of our business since 2010.
JANUARY 2026
GROWING TO 30,000 SQUARE FEET
As demand continued to grow, we expanded into the adjacent spaces, creating a 30,000-square-foot gallery in the Dallas Design District. Today, this expanded venue allows us to present multiple estates. important collections, and exceptional individual consignments in a professionally curated gallery environment.
While our gallery has grown, our commitment to serving clients where they are has remained unchanged. We continue to offer both traditional in-home estate sales and gallery estate events, recommending the approach that best fits each estate, collection, and client’s goals.

ADAM HOUSE AUCTIONS
Built upon more than eighteen years of estate sale and auction experience through When Pigs Fly Estate Sales & Auctions, Adam House Auctions was established to provide a dedicated auction house for exceptional estates, significant collections, fine art, jewelry, luxury goods, automobiles, and important individual pieces.

EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO,
I was at a crossroads in my career:
A friend encouraged me to stop chasing someone else’s vision and find a way to make a living doing what I truly loved.
My response was immediate:
“Maybe… when pigs fly.”
Neither of us realized that simple conversation would become the inspiration for a company name-and the beginning of an entirely new chapter.
What started as a small shop in Denton has grown into an estate sale and auction company serving families, collectors, fiduciaries, and advisors throughout Texas. Along the way, we’ve expanded into a 30,000-square-foot gallery in the Dallas Design District and now proudly introduce Adam House Auctions-the next chapter in that journey.
While our companies have grown and evolved, the values that guided us from the beginning remain unchanged.
